What microchip does my pet need?

Pets travelling internationally need a 15-digit ISO 11784/11785-compatible microchip, which is the global standard read by veterinary and customs scanners. If your pet has an older or non-ISO microchip, your vet may need to implant a compliant one before vaccinations and blood tests are carried out, as health certificates are tied to the microchip number on the day of testing.
