If the flight is delayed, Airpets keeps your pet at our Heathrow Animal Lounge — not at the airport — until it’s safe and appropriate to transfer them for check-in. Pets are never taken to the airport early to sit in a holding area. Our team monitors the airline’s status updates in real time, and your export consultant will keep you informed throughout. If the delay is significant enough to affect the journey, we’ll work with the airline to find the next suitable option.
