Can my pet be sedated for the flight?

No — sedation is strictly prohibited for live animals on commercial flights. At altitude, the change in pressure and temperature means a sedated pet’s body cannot regulate effectively, which can be fatal. If your pet shows signs of sedation at check-in, Airpets has the right to refuse the booking on welfare grounds. This is an industry-wide rule set by IATA and enforced by every airline.
