In most cases, yes — your pet can travel on the same flight as you, but you don’t have to. Pets travel in the temperature- and pressure-controlled cargo hold of commercial passenger aircraft, so once your pet’s flight is confirmed by the airline, you can book yourself a seat on that same service.
