How long has Airpets been in business?

Airpets has been transporting pets internationally since 1966 — nearly 60 years, making us one of the longest-established pet relocation companies in the UK. Airpets was founded by John Woodward, a Heathrow-area farmer who began with a small set of boarding kennels, and the business grew into a full international pet travel service after the UK introduced the Rabies Act 1974 and demand for quarantine and animal handling near the airport increased. Today the company is run by third-generation family members, Directors Jack and Hugo, alongside Sophie, who leads on Australia routes and animal welfare. We remain a family-run business with the same hands-on focus on animal care the company started with.
