Airpets Attend the 2009 IPATA Annual Conference

Airpets Attended the 33rd IPATA Annual Conference, which this year was held at the Grand Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. The event was attended by 118 professional pet shippers from 30 countries. For more information, you can also visit the IPATA website.

Airpets Supporting Charities

Here at Airpets we will work closely with charities, two of which are The Swan Sanctuary and Wildlife Aid. We have recently donated our old boxes, cat litter trays, bowls and bedding to help their cause. Recently, Simon Cowell of Wildlife Aid had a series on Sky TV, where Airpets were invited to go along and see what it is they do.

Online Fraud

There are criminal groups active on the web, advertising pedigree puppies for a minimal cost, often including the shipping & delivery costs. These are fictional puppies, they do not exist, they will not be delivered to you
Their websites look legitimate, but they have lifted text & images from professional pet shippers own sites.  Reputable pet shippers will always have a land line contact number, never only a mobile number.  No reputable shipper will ask for monies to be wired via Western Union to accounts held in countries other than their own.  Currently, the fake companies are asking for money to be sent to an account in Cameroon.
Always ensure that your chosen puppy breeder is recognised by the Kennel Club http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/services and that the pet shipper is listed with IPATA ( the Independant Pet & Animal Transportation Assoc ) http://www.ipata.com 
To be sure you will actually receive a puppy, we strongly recommend you do not buy puppies online, always visit your breeder
