Pets arriving from non Pet Travel Scheme qualifying countries or those which do not comply with the regulations must complete six months quarantine and arrive in the UK with an import permit.  At our base just 5 minutes from the cargo centre at Heathrow, we have 5* facilities to take care of dogs and cats during their quarantine period. All new arrivals are checked by our vet within the first 24 hours and cared for by our dedicated kennel staff. Please see our quarantine dogs and cats page for more details.

Our import department can help you with the often complex paperwork to make sure everything goes smoothly. On completion of the ID1 import application and C5 Customs & Excise forms we will then apply to DEFRA for the import permit. We also check if the original Boarding Document and Rabies label is required. If not, these are scanned and sent by e mail.
The first month’s board plus additional charges are taken at this time to secure the booking. A confirmation letter is then sent to the owner and in which we will request flight details. Once the import permit is issued we will require confirmation of flight details and a copy of the Airway Bill with our Badge Code entered on as “DDD”. We encourage owners to visit their pets whilst with us and offer a complimentary bus service for quarantine visitors to and from Heathrow Terminal 5 underground (Piccadilly Line).
